heya im back from ubin!
went with my family cell
with a lot of young kids
a little girl 2+ is the youngest
see i was actually qt bored there and certain people will know
so first day went there slack alot until after lunch
kor msged us saying there were the 3 armed robbers in tekong
and all his sargeants had disappeared
and some of his section mates had gone off for patrolling
while he and his friends slacked in the bunk cos all trng had stopped
so exciting right
wish i had the chance to be there
then we went kayaking in this man made lagoon i think
the water is black from far
not even the greenish water you see around singapore
then someone spotted a huge fish
mebbe 1 metre long?
after awhile i saw it too cos it surfaced for a moment
qt scared really
im not scared of water or capsizing or anything
only scared of bigger-than-my-hand fish swimming near to me should i capsize
haha alex actually kayaked by himself!
he looked so cute i tell you
after kayaking it started drizzling heavily
so must thank God for good weather while we were kayaking
then bathed then went to 'town' for dinner
the adults had this brainwave to sit outside under the trees near the beach for dinner
little did they know that it was mosquito infested
then after eating all but the peper crab they decided to move indoors
ahhh..better
back at the resort had a worship session
then american idol results
AHAAHAHAA LEAH LABELLE GOT OUT
expected though
day 2 went cycling
fun but because had alot of unfit adults and young kids there
we stopped every 30 seconds or so and im not kidding
and stopped at noordin beach for lunch
thank you auntie agnes and uncle fred for the watermelon
they cycled with it ok.
after lunch cycled in the rain back to the 'town'
then went chek jawa
there was this wild boar
wow my mum has sharp eyesight she saw it among the brown rocks
and you know boars are brown.
and everyone hopped onto a big rock and stood there waiting for it to pass
but it didnt and later we realised it was quite harmless so we got down
the park ranger said her name was priscilla
saw some coral touched some coral
when you touch coral out of water they will close up the touched portion
like mimosa or touch-me-nots if you prefer
if you touch them some more they will release a lot of what looks like water
and shrink and half bury themselves in the sand
never thought coral could move eh?
phew then boarded the ferry back to sunny singapore
not that ubin is any less sunny
