he replied.

i can't believe it. my day was MADE early this morning, even with 9.5 hours of work stretched out before me.

secret! hiok.

anyway, just wanted to say, omg work sucks. its the knowledge that you have NO CHOICE but to stay there until 6.30 and SUCK it up. and the fact that you have 10 to 11 hours less each day for yourself. for doing the things you like. like lounging in bed with your favourite frequently reread book.
now, i lounge in my desk chair and try not to fall asleep.

but as such is life, grow up.



i watched pitch black today starring vin diesel.
vin diesel is such a cool name. WHY am i angela chan.
i dont think anyone thinks angela chan is a cool name.

but we are being shallow and it is now tomorrow.

this week has been the most happening week of 2008.

i shall descibe it in reverse orer, starting friday.

friday:
dinner with junkfoodjames
he is really black and.. black.

thursday:
cny 15th day dinner at my grandma's. the food was MAGNIFICENT
there was more: abalone, scallops, prawns fish, veg (she makes the most awesome veg that can turn any non-veg eater vegetarian) than anyone can finish. evne after everyone ate there was still more! needless to say.. i.. overate.
if my grandma were younger i think she may have started a restaurant.
then after dinner was gin rummy! i played for my uncle who ws playing for my grandma and won her $13.40 of which she gave me $10 as commission! haha.
so friday i had more money to spend.

wednesday:
dinner with 7b girls!!!!!!!!!!!!!
at fish and co cos huihui had fried fish cravings. so we all had no choice -.-
dinner with the girls; enough said.

tuesday:
i don't remember what happened on tuesday. possibly because of monday.

monday:
CARLOS SANTANA

THE MUSIC
WAS SO HOT
I DONT KNOW HOW ELSE TO DESCRIBE IT

and not just santana himself. all the other musicians were crazily talented.
and i was so near i could see bruce lee on the bassist's shirt.

now this is the reason why i don't remember a thing about what happened tuesday. all throughout work my mind was on the previous night. it was a wonder i got my work done.

which reminds me, they keep saying i work so fast, slow down. uhh.. i think all those who know will already know what i do while working...
its relativity la.

speaking of la.

i just got back from SANTANA's concert.

everything is so surreal.
until i remember there is work tomorrow.

but before that, Santana.

he has to be the coolest old guy on earth. he wins bruce willis/johnny depp and others hands down.
the music is seriously addictive. it gets you moving! i cannot describe.
the band, the lights, the atmosphere, the seats..

and you can tell, there was once.. they were totally hot. but, i think a certain kind of hotness increases with age.

credits to a certain family i know.

THANK YOU ALL SO SO SO SO MUCH

i would never have been able to be so privelleged otherwise.

before i forget to blog, here i am!

i want to thank god for two things today.

first, my boss brought me up to the 15th floor to carry some stuff down. it wasnt very heavy, but they altogether were quite bulky and it was significantly tough to carry them down. but when i got to my floor, there appeared an office worker who immediately walked ahead of me to open the door for me.
(the doors need staff passes to open)
and at that time i did not have my pass! nor any hands to hold up a pass even if i had one. really, thank god because He provides your every need. even tiny things like this that dont seem at all great miraculous acts.

second, i had just boarded the train at tg. pagar and my mum had just told me she could not fetch me from simei. and all day i hardly sat and so was very tired. also i had been sneezing all day because of the dust that must accompany catalogging (how to spell) stuff.
at city hall, someone in front of me got up from her seat. i fell right into it. so far i have never sat on the train home during after-office hours before.
thank God for that 25min rest because i really needed it if i wanted to walk and not crawl home.

okay i am quite pissed.
nevermind the blisters and cuts i got from the new working shoes.
nevermind that i got pangsehed and left to walk home in said shoes.
nevermind that kor pangsehed me to play COH with a friend after agreeing to dota with me.
nevermind that the workplace is freeeeezing cold and there is almost no one there my age.

but i mind (and here is where, if you dont like ranting, click X)

that nobody asked how my day was!

except my maid!

because everyone would rather watch colin ferrel and al pacino on tv.
and the parents were busy scolding me because i did not put my cold drink on a coaster. (incidentally, all my other siblings are far more frequent committers of such a heinous crime than i am)

oh but the walk home is really the one that killed my feet and i would have taken them off to go barefoot except that there were people around! so cannot be so barbaric right..
each tiny, painful step caused both little toes to become more strangled and suffused with blood.
agh.


okay. rants over and i got over it all already just that i felt like it was a serious enough thing to blog about.

i am quite excited, the president is coming tomorrow!

but she is not online so i cannot wish her.

another thing. is it just me who's getting more impatient? or are others just picking on me more?
or have i been cooped up too long with my parents.
