today is tuesday, which means monday is over
and if monday is over means chalet is over which means headaches are over
well at first i felt it was baaaad..
then after the during the games was muuuch much better
cos games re fun and fun things lighten people up
a few complaints here and there though.
but if i were to complain here i would find myself beaten up in some alley sooner or later.
only safe complaint is that people anhow junk my cards!
i was missing one card the whole night until like 11+ then found it somewhere
net time bring yer own cards man!

was supposed to do the softball quiz when the fours arrive
but we postponed it awhile
so turns out only the person form their side asked the qns
you dont understand nvm
okay so hm aparently lots of ppl dont know how to play daidee
only know how to play bullshit/bluff
so we whiled the time away
hm i still wanna play dai dee
im just relieved.

wprk ex is finally over!
it was so boring
let me give you the gist of it and i shall spare all your bored minds from further boredom.
day one:
orientation
all in all i heard that there are 3 wards like 5 times, ward 2 belongs to ttsh 3 or 4 times, amk hospital is a community hospital a million times, and the patients are 75 and above a gadzillion times.
AND i know the differences between physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy.
i know them cos i've heard them a thousand times
cos each person we follow will give us an intro to the hospital
[i could give you an accurate account of the entire hospital and its functions, but as i said in my above statement i will not bore your bored minds into further boredom.]
haha so loh so.
day one we followed a physio called patrick [he's so funny] and we watched.
asically we watched old people walk with/without support with/without walking sticks etcetra.
and we watched old people climb stairs.
and go down stairs.
these old people mostly are stroke patients recovering the use of their affected limbs
so good limb goes up first while goin up stairs, bad limb goes down first while going down stairs.

day 2:
was in a ward the whole day.
followed various nurses around
i know that: staff nurses have completely white uniforms
enrolled nurses have this green lining on their collar
trainee nurses have a blue streak on the front of their uniform
hospital ah mahs wear white top green pants
i assisted in bathing an old woman!!!
omgosh that took getting used to
like in the first 5 secs i was totally stunned so when the nurse asked me to get a clean hospital gown for the old lady i was too stunned to respond
cos its pretty graphic, if you know what i mean.
then i made one hospital bed
then i watched the administration of a new patient
administration = give pt [patient] a routine check up and fill in a dozen forms
the 3 of us just stood there and watched [mostly i stoned] the nurse fill in the form
zzz..
we watched her take the pt's temp
[like i dont know how to]
was qt tempted to nick a few of those theremometer sleeves
so tt no need to buy from g.o when the times comes and i forget to bring the therm
but then there were so many nurses and you never know when the inconspicuous old man/woman who looks like he's/she's asleep may catch you in the act and report your grave misdeed to a nurse
ha.
all in all day 2 was the second worst.

day 3:
I TOOK MC!!!!!!! yayness.
cos foot pain la still is though

day 4:
by far the funnest day
they let us check out all the medicines in 2 huge cupboards not to mention other various trolleys and shelves
so cool the medicines! all colours and there were medcines in glass vials which need to be broken to get the medicine out
so cool
haha we raided all the drawers trolleys baskets plastic bags bottles containers shelves cupboards.. but of course we put it back into their original places
we dont want the nest day's headlines to be:
RGS GIRLS KILL HUNDREDS IN HOSPITAL
haha.
they also let us pack medicine
and keyed in a pt's meds to be distributed at the pharmacy into this cool comp
the screen is super large [for old pharmacists i guess] :)
all in all it was the funnest day

day 5: [LAST DAY!!!]
also the boringest. plees ackscue me for my terrigible engrish
did absolutely nothing at all, apart from 1. embarrassing an old man by going into the male toilet to watch him bathe, 2. give beanbags to an old man who lost the use of his left arm
and even then i only gave around 10 beanbags
and no i didnt see anything i wasnt supposed to see
cos he chased us three tormented souls away
so we followed 1 occupational therapist [ot] and one speech therapist [st]
BORING
saw old people drink water and eat half a cracker for st
saw old people playing with balloons, lying on beds raising one leg, putting beanbags into a basket, catching beanbags, writing, sleeping and playing with gym balls.
so interesting right it toally captured my attention so that i nearly dozed off while the ot was speaking.
yay its over already!
finally no need to wake at 7 take 20 stops to yio chu kang and get home at 5.30 anymore!

this morning i woke up and my left foot hurt
cannot walk properly!!!
so i went bedok polyclinic
mum couldnt send me there cos she had stuff on.
so i walked [more like hobbled, really]
i reached the clinic arnd 8.30 and only finished at arnd 10.30 or sth
wait wait wait wait i only spent like 15 mins or less at the doc's, paying money, collecting medicine and some other counter
@%^#$@!!
well i had agatha christie to read at least
but ive read murder on the orient express before
qt a good book it earns my recommendation!
so got back arnd 11+ washed my cap and shoes
boy its hoooot
WTH MY IDIOT OF A BROTHER IS SO STUPID
really really stoops
me: there should be some bk coupons in the basket can you give it to mummy shes gonna drive in now
bodobro: there isnt any there's only macdonalds coupons
me: then tell her there arent any bk ones

i went: THEN TELL HER THERE AREN'T ANY BK COUPONS, STUPID!
well. im alot calmer now.
NO I AM NOT THE BLOODY PHONE KEEPS RINGING I HAVE ANSWERED IT AT LEAST 6 TIMES IN 15 MINUTES
hm maybe you should know that the phone just rang and i answered it for the 6th time.

work ex is super extremely boring to the max.
saw some stuff like how to bathe a patient
how to change a patients diapers
the patients there mostly got stroke bypass ops they are v. old
like >75 kind..
today the nurse brought me to observe how they bathe a patient
female of course
i was the only one who saw the rest were making beds
and there was one old old man
who was absolutely skin and bones
and he looked like in terrible pain
as in facial expression
so poor thing see already want to cry
and we saw themm change the bandages of an amputee's leg-stump
not very scary cos its like a lump of flesh dangling from the knee
not a raw open wound kind
then we saw this patient who couldnt shit herself
and so theres this tube with a bag attached to her intestine which removes the waste
the shit is of course not in solid form cos te tube is attached higher up the intestine
as in earleir in the intestine so no solid shit formed yet
now that one was realy sick and stomach churning cos the bag is transparent
but one thing though.
the old people there are really poor thing most of them are in there for rehab
as in going for physiotherapy or occupational therapy or speech therapy
some undergo all three
so they are very weak and frail and spend most of their time
1. sleeping
2. stoning
3. doing nothing
its really sad. esp when you see them in such a sorry state
some of them dont get visitors
and some their visitors are maids
who speak hokkien malay cantonese and what have you
so sad right.
anw we stoned alot
most of it was just watching the nurses do routine stuff
super boring
and at 12+ hannah left
at 3+ me and priscyllia [spell correct?] went to sit somewhere cos we were feeling totally extra and zo dang [howtospell]
as in in the way
haha we made our way to the staff rest area or wdv its called
and i read my agatha christie and she played my phones games
and took random photos of her wound
haha we were damn bored lah..
so we stoned there half and hour or more
and at 4 on the dot we appeared at the reception and said 'its 4, we're going!'
haha so we left
yio chu kang is 20 bloody stops from simei lah can you beat it
so like by fri i would have covered 200 train stops in total
5 days a week twice a day
zzz... listen to bon jovi until sian already
must change disc sometime soon
got back walked home in the rain
played dota
some bloody bodo kept f-ing this and that
and kept f-ing me too cos apparently im noob
I AM WHAT
in the end he died more times than me ok and my hero higher score than his
what an asshole
and he said sth like

me: SO ARE YOU
he: my d*ck longer than yours
guess what i said
me: hahahahahah
he: unless you dont have..
ohh man.
well now you know what lamers there are in this sad sad world
cos ppl like him exist to irritate others
and there was this leaver who took bounty hunter
he left like 5 secs after he got gondar
how stups can you get!!
so irritating in the end my lane 2-1 im 1
but haha i didnt die only died 3 times i think
wdv lah tmr got work wish me luck hope i dont fall asleep in the hospital
while bathing patients or sth

today went xh's church
quite ok
later lunched at out of the pan with her in raffles city
and yes i do agree rg softballers have expensive tastes.
we should all patronise fj more often. its waaay cheaper!
later got stuck at esprit red earth there
mum went slightly dizzy and bought:
2 lipsticks
1 eyelash curler
2 eyeshadow things
1 nail polish
the most astounding part is
[you should take this down as you may never see this again for at least 2 years]
the most astounding part is:
half of it's mine
yepp the nailpolish eyelash curler 1 eyeshadow thing are mine

oh i find it hard to believe it myself

fri morning had scrimmage with ri c div
means sec ones
oh they are soooo irritating
really really irritating
will sing songs say stupid things act macho act dumb you name it they do it
so long as its anything irritating
hahaha well i suppose we were iritating
i pity the catcher though
samuel? i think.
haha i told him to relax
cos halfway they started getting pissed and yelling at one another
which is THE worst thing to do in a team game
the benchie was the most irritating
kept singing stooopid songs
hm i pitched one inning
i didnt hit a single ball!
so idiotic
well at least i pitched mainly strikes but so easy to hit cos they're sooo slow
and all three of them hit and all three of them got out
i forgot to stare at the batters and freak them out though
only rmbered at the last batter
oh yeah we had many umps
i thought the last one was sec 2 cos i didnt recognize him
haha and the poor umps
torn between siding their juniors and being gentlemanly
okay next week got work ex
at amk hospital
OH I FOUND MY DISCMAN CHARGER!
and today i was unstoppable!
but haha i cheated abit kor helped me abit

ytd budak pantai was awesome!
very funny esp that micheal guy
i esp liked the bengawan solo one and the one they sang in malay
and the one with the sean connery translation
heehaho
so clique met at 12 or sth and i met them later at 3.30
cos my dad organised this tree top walk thing at mac ritchie reservoir with the family cell in the morning
woke up at 7 okay while my brothers had to be beaten out of bed
haha i beat them
and there were 7-8 year olds and middle aged people there
and guess who walked slower
of course the old daddies and mummies they lagged behind
me and kor were kinda in the middle cos we're neither very young nor old
on the way took pics
or rather daddy is a camera nut
everywhere also want to take pics of other people
even with trees also want
so for lunch ate roti prata
there was choc strawberry chicken floss prata there to name a few!
supposed to be the best prata in s'pore or sth there were many certs and npper articles hung on the walls
on the way back sat someone's car home
slept on the way
oh btw. heels suck okay
uhh.. oh we got clique ring!
im tired of shopping i just wanna stay at home and uhh do other things
like go swimming! or go wild wild wet! or go bowling! but ruoq says it screws up pitching so sigh shall have to give it up

uhh the service we attended was full of old and middle aged ppl
apparently the youth start at 1115 but then when i peeked in the youth service it didnt seem all too youth to me..
ages were from maybe 7-19? haiyah dunno lah

wed met at 2.30 as usual i and resh were on time everyone else late
waited waited waited 3.40 liddat
finally started
abit awkward i suppsoe but at least we were pretty productive
more than the others i guess
guess i was pretty bitchy too im sorry
normally im not bitchy!
im sure there are some who will agree
later met rachw and yihui at ngee ann city there or wherever it was
delifrance what delifrance!
like walked arnd dunno how long was by pure chance bumped into them
then put bags down at the room
hm.
slowly everyone started arriving
thanks yihui and yihuis parents for the sleepover and sorry abt the glass! :)
wanted to watch late night movie
but my conscience ate at me
oh, ate it did
so by 11 pm we were already back in the room 8 ppl crammed into one tiny hotel room!
watched all of j park 3
the part i liked best was the part when eric first met the pteradectyl how do you spell it
aiyah the birdy kind of dinosaur lah
played dai dee heart attack bridge though i dont like bridge and i cant play it
sigh only me and rach know how to play russian poker lah and not enough cards for gin rummy or jin rummy?
then played monop!
orig was the first for the first round
ended up with only poor little colombo court for like so long whilst everyone bought everything
i just dao mei lah
but then in the meantime collected alot of money from go so instant hotels later on
oh yeah i snagged a grand total of 2 properties colombo court and water works
musta gone jail like 4 times
but. nvm i was rich
but huihui was flaming rich
7 orange notes can?
after more cards, tom yam noodles and milo later, we slept
at 4.
woke at 9
sorry my alarm damn loud but i didnt want to oversleep lah
if not waste the day away
watched some jay chou thing
okay lah hes good
b'fasted at macs

bought tix to cellular at ps
went back to pack stuff
visited the hotel's pool
the dumb pool guy asked if we had a room in the hotel
liuyi went yes in an icy voice
whilst the door guy was very nice to us
go door guy!
cellular is damn good
really!
and chris evans has a stupid stupid kind of look/behaviour
which is cute sometimes
oh i dropped my lollipop and so sab and i were flashing the phone light looking everywhere
it was still wrapped of course
sigh after that split up and yihui and bongs really take the longest time to buy things
one shirt only! while i stone stone stand there
sigh me and rach just walked in a bought socks in half a tick
but then socks are socks shirts are shirts
came home dad immediately whisked me and lex away to swim
somehow or other swam 50 laps
only a 20 m pool lah relax
the most ive ever done was 40 in the olympic sized pool
cos had to get up before the sun sets
oh there was one time in hxc (my old house) kor and i tried outdoing each other
so we just swam like anything
in the end me 106 he 11sth or 120 laps?
nvm. not bad alr. my bro is 4 years older lah
woah i never did that again cos guess what happened the next day!
whoops. ;)
so got home played a lil w3 ft
then dined in front of telly with whole family watching idol
i fell asleep on the couch right after oli's 2nd song thats how shagged i was
what with 5 hours of sleep and swimming
i love swimming it gives me a great sense of accomplishment
i should think even more than softball
but nvm i voted taufik anyway!
ma woke me at 11 and i've been on the comp ever since
its 0058 acc to my phone
speaking of which!
i need more free smses!
bah 400 is not enough
okay so ppl call me at home or my phone
my mins are underutilised whereas smses are jsut the opposite
heh good night, or rather morning.

today went dentist
missed the train waited 7 extra mins
walked wrong way ended up quite wet.
whatta bummer!
the met cherly at heeren
umm browsed around wallet shop
saw nice billabong wallets there
but at 77th street there was a real beautiful one that i will have
but it costs 40 bucks!
wahlao.
its black and leathery. with billabong in white on it
available at 77th street heeren
so if any kind soul(s) will kindly sponsor
my birthday is in a month and a week
i dont even mind if 40 of yall spend a dollar each
