can tell kor is being especially nice. yesterday he gave me his grapes and today bought me milk tea.
mum+dad too bought me a milk tea today. and dad kept trying to give me half of his hotdog.

and jie's reaction was totally unexpected. she took it lightly, as if it weren't serious at all and said that even though she's in a great US uni, when kor who's in smu starts working he'll earn more than her. and also told me not to go to america cos the ang mohs there.... lol.

okay i have made quite some climo notes. left one and a half more sets of climo i think. climo is by FAR the hardest physical crap i've ever studied. so hard to understand esp the one on the world's pressure systems.

i probably didnt notice this before, but the girls in naruto (or at least, until episode 151) are totally useless. the only good one is temari but i have a feeling its only cos she's older. the rest are perpetually in need of saving. and how come in each group there are 2 boys to 1 girl? and the Akatsuki. all male!! (unless tobi turns out female but im still only at 151) what sexism.
also everyone (EVERYONE) has a troubled past. at first i thought the creator was just being dramaic and soap-operaish but later i realised everyone has their own demons to grapple with.

so its half over. a levels next!

was fully intending to stay out till late today, but my feet decided otherwise. this silly toe causes me to walk without placing any pressure on my toes and now the whole foot but the heel aches. grrehh.

but somehow, i've lost the pleasure i used to derive from going out. now i'd almost choose staying home to watch monk or some dvd/lazing in bed/reading books/using computer ovr going out.

oh no i think this is the result of not having a life for too long.

anyway on weds after math, the six of us and isaac p. played taboo for pretty long before deciding to play tennis. but unfortunately the tennis rackets needed to be restrung, so we couldnt play.

anyone have rackets to lend? PLZZ can we borrow?

so we played modified captains ball with the netball net as the goal instead. man we're terribl out of shape la. run a bit tired alr. but the sky was really nice to watch turn from white with gradients of grey to shades of blue, red, pink, orange. truly truly. and ot be in the company of people you're really fond of, what could be better?
sadly no one had a camera and so we couldnt take photos of a memorable event.

school's ending soon and i dont want it to.

how beautiful the sky is, at all times of the day.
even if over this tiny red dot the sky seems less blue, doesnt produce brilliant dazzling cloudless skies; nor are we in alaska where auroras abound and the milky way is a permanent feature

my favourite has got to be dusk.
when the sun starts to set and if you're in school, head to the canteen, middle block.
look toward the library block and just watch. when it comes it'll be over in less than 5 minutes.

books are wonderful. if ever i get addicted to anything, i'd like it to be books.
i mean they transport you so wonderfully into another place, another time, another person.
they dont even need to say: alright imagine this is happening to you right now cos you already do, and its not imagination either.

books are wonderful. and i must say i am quite disappointed alex isnt at all into reading. btw if you think that i;m some chronic reader.. you havent seen my sister! she's read even more agatha christies than me i am quite ashamed to say. its she who recommends all these great books and sifts out the boring ones that i might not like. funny enough even though she's not here physically, i dont even feel like she's very far away at all. how to express.

its like i know she's in the US but that doesnt stop me from feeling her presence in this family, in this house, even in her room. like i feel it in my bones she's somewhere about. and its not the creepy pontianak feeling i;m referring to haha.

okay i currently picked up this book lying in one of the shelves at home. its called house of the scorpion, and so far its great and therefore not great at all in this current prelims period.
why have i not seen this book before!

and sigh just the other day i was introducing to alex all the books that i enjoyed, and he didnt even look interested at all! hello by his age i'd read mathilda, james and the giant peach, the bfg, charlie and the chocolate factory, chronicles of narnia, lots and lots of famous five/nancy drew/hardy boys and a heck lot of archicomics (lol) a few times over. and he recently just graduated from captain underpants. argh! he takes 2 months to read one agatha christie.

HOW do you even REMEMBER the plot!?!?!?

hm. isnt the point of murder mysteries to try solving it before the book concludes and all is revealed?

but still jie always teased me for not reading enough cos lol i tended to re-read books. humph! jie if you ever read this, its because of YOU that i always resisted reading Anne of Green Gables!! because of your mania with it i.. lol just didnt want to read it and discover it was nice and you were right.

sigh this was a happy rant. somewhat wistful too.

this is lame but at least shikamaru is my favourite naruto character. actually i dont like naruto at all. nor sakura not sasuke.

okay so last night was tuition. sigh got home 10+
and math is... math.

okay we are getting fat. firstly we sit on our asses all day mugging. secondly, mugging requires alot of brain food like teh peng and chocolate. thirdly, in our mugging madness, other wholesome activities like jogging/tennis/badminton lose their importance. at a very alarming rate.

WOO NEW LAPTOP YO!

actually i dont really like this design but its ok la.

was really tempted to get the lowest end of the vaio sz series but that one has only one year local warranty and so if go overseas to study this will be lots better. but the sony one really damn chio!

so anyway was at COMEX ytd from like 4.30 to 9.30 heh heh heh terrible i need to study now. me and dad took a taxi from simei station to home and then when dad was reaching for his wallet in his pocket, suddenly his right calf cramped and he started yelling in the taxi for me to push his foot back. boy i was totally stunned and honestly quite frightened, cos for a while i had no idea what daddy was yelling about. thank God it got better though.

and today studying in the canteen was terribly unproductive and well at least we know

hiokhiokhiok. not that the canteen wasnt conducive because it truly was quiet but it was just me la. sigh.
A levels you know! prelims in 9 days you know!
so right now i am sitting on the floor with the laptop on the laptop box as a table.quite pitiful but no choice cos table is completely filled with math chem geog econs -.-

am in terribly deep shit i seem to have been doing so much but achieving so little. but then lots of other people feel this way so is it normal or do they really mean it hm.
if one thing i dont appreciate it would be having someone tell me they are so screwed so screwed help help help and then they get the very disappointing results of 3As 1B.
maybe itgs your standard to expect much of yourself but do you ever wonder if this might be being insensitive to others who are struggling? dont worry, people have nothing but praise for smart, humble people.
not to mention the wasted sympathy and concern for the person whos panicking and feeling lousy about himself by friends who listen to them rant, only to see them getting good results.
