Wednesday, September 08, 2004 sunday went to pp from 12+ to 4 looking for a clique bottom with kel and tan stinky cheryl didnt come for some reason or other so walked arnd alot looking for nice skirts (why does the clique bottom have to be a skirt? i like pants thank you very much) but then i guess its time i grew up and graduated from jeans jeans and more jeans. there was this skirt which we tried on, and after much debating decided not to buy because kelly said it was too short and unsuitable for her. -dont be daft, kelly- but later after kelly left tania said: eh, i still want that skirt leh.. i said: me too we looked at each other and rushed up the escalator heh. on tues moni and some 310-ers and some softballers went to marina city park with some orphans i cant remember the name of the home, it was a muslim home so at first we thought osme of them were really old [ages 7-16] and worried that they might be bored outta their minds there was this really really really supremely cute little person called imran and he carried a bag of oreo cookies. so cute. okay so my buddy was this 10+ year old boy called Fazli a little old to be cute but still somewhat cute all the same i know this sounds really really cliched and all, but now i really appreciate everything that i have. [or most things lah] because little fazli has never been to a park before, never sat on a swing before and never heard the sound of crickets before i suppose thats why he said he'd like to stay on the swing until the next day then after double whacko we went to the playground and i just stood at the swings looking after fazli. then lunch, and my sausage rolled onto the floor. heh. then kite flying! wow the kites actually could fly! they are flimsy things made of grease paper, very fine sticks from household brooms and nylon string so fazlis kite refused to get up in the air and stay up. so we made another and all the little boys who made new kites wrote 'boy joker' on them whats that? the only jokers i've heard of are form playing cards and batman. this time the kite stayed up and little Imran kept running about the park with his kite dragging on the floor, and he didnt seem to care because he was having so much fun i think im sounding more and more sentimental and what not I AM!! so sad. when they left i gave fazli a stick of grape mentos and imran saw it and said sth like what about me? [at this time they were already nearly leaving] so i laughed and hurriedly dug in my bag more some sweets i gave him one mint and he said sth like gimme some more. i laughed again and gave him all my other sweets inc. a half eaten stick of grape mentos when i said do you want this? its only half he said yes so i gladly gave it. NOW I WISH I BROUGHT ALL MY OTHER SWEETS!!! sobsniffcoffcoff :( ah well. it was a day well spent. much better than anything i've done so far.. angela posted this at 13:39 [comment] *** |
