Thursday, December 08, 2005 guess what. i am one day to sweet sixteen. quite interesting to find out why it was termed sweet. nevermind. point is, although its my birthday i dont feel like going out to celebrate it. who with? sigh half the softballers are away. kellypoks is not here either. and moni just came back but is sick. she has caught the paris flu. and i am too lazy. i want to go on a holiday! somewhere not in malaysia or some beach. some hawaiian beach is an exception though. see see? i am so materialistic. what is the difference between a tioman beach and a hawaiian beach. okay fine many things, but most importantly their different distances from singapore. but all the same i am very sad. i am the only one who does not want a shop-eat-sleep holiday. i want to do things! isnt that what a holiday is for. to do things you otherwise wouldnt do on a normal occasion. besides. shopping with a sibling and a parent is absolutely no fun. because most of the time we end up shopping for a certain female sibling of mine.. some things i would dearly love to do [when $$ permits] 1. white water rafting 2. hiking in some mountain for a few days 3. learn to ride a horse a la wild wild west 4. visit antarctica! ($$$$$) 5. backpacking 6. sail on a yacht 7. taking a ride in the countryside 8. hot air ballooning 9. live on a farm/ranch for a while 10. and of course my favourite, fishing. not ordinary fishing! must be by a really quiet lake with a log cabin in some temperate climate. oh and your own little boat to row out in. okay this is my plan. every year from the year i graduate, i will tick off one of these things. hm maybe living on a farm/ranch is not so doable. whatever. i shall start saving now. it shall be lunchboxes to school everyday then. let me see. how much can i save a year? well. nevermind, i shall figure that out later. considering i dont even know my future allowance/income. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- anyway. i was just thinking about this whole clubbing thing. why are people so caught up with it? like i said before, the old are getting younger, and the young are getting older. ok here's what i gather you do at clubs. first you get past the bouncers. then you: - drink some whatevers to get high - dance with _________ [whoever] to get higher - talk to pretty/handsome strangers? - pick up a stranger - get picked up by a stranger riiiight. then you go home at 3 am? zz. think i will conk out by 2 man. besides. there are too many dangers out there. well maybe this mindset is because i am still a prude. in that case, LONG LIVE THE PRUDE(S) angela posted this at 14:56 [comment] *** |
