Friday, November 03, 2006 is it love at first sight or lust at first sight? love, i say! i mean. just look at cinderella, snow white and the one who got pricked by a spinning wheel and fell asleep for damn long. why. why do all these fairy tale writers like to incorporate sleeping as part of the ending. i can clearly name two examples. 1. snow white - she fell asleep [but the dwarfs thought her dead] and so was put on display in a coffin till the guy on the horse came and woke her up with a magic kiss. 2. sleeping beauty [ah i rmb now]. slept for a hundred years before the same type of guy on a horse woke her up with the same type of magic kiss. [[actually. i would find it rather morbid to put someone who, in my knowledge, is dead on display in a freaking coffin. i mean well. we put trophies, teddy bears and the like on display. not a corpse [or at least what you think is a corpse] for goodness' sakes!!!]] so anyway, back to fairy tales. can you imagine kissing [on the lips] someone who has been sleeping for a hundred years? when every morning your breath stinks like hell and one of the first things you do [or at least, i hope you do], is brush your teeth? imagine a hundred years worth of morning breath. if i were the prince, it'd be very hard for me to lust after the one im kissing who has accumulated a hundred years of morning breath. and also. i have a groundbreaking secret to share with you. eternal youth. 1: throw a party. invite every fairy you know, but accidentally-on-purpose dont invite the old ugly fairy. then she will cast a spell on you and you will sleep for a hundred years and remain beautiful and young and all that. whats more you get a prince after you wake up. not bad eh! but i digress. i shall not discuss this further. why is it love at first sight? because: in all those fairy tales i mentioned above, they always [ALWAYS] live happily ever after. ~~The End~~ angela posted this at 23:38 [comment] *** |
