Wednesday, August 08, 2007 ok there's this fella who shall remain unnamed. lets call him F. now F goes around watching girls. F goes around watching this bunch of girls i know very very well. they find it a total put off, this display of perversion/loserness/no life-ness. simply put, it doesn't make them like him any more than they like dead cockroaches on their beds. yup just thought we should all know that we all know that we know. oh if this doesn't sound anything like you, then it isn't. ----------------------------------------- mother told me this really funny story of The Adventures of the Orchard Road Aunties so titled because it involved my mum and her older sister, who one week ago went down to orchard by train, to check out some sales at taka. now before the little underground link from orchar mrt to wisma was sealed, they knew how to go (i am presuming here) to taka from orchard mrt. now that its gone, they were lost. first they hit wheelock then realised .. wrong direction. when they finally found ngee ann city, they couldnt find taka. the found themselves wandering around cartier, tiffany's and the like and for the life of them could not find the department store!!!! frustrated, they asked many people for directions. ok this is the best part. upon finally locating the elusive department store, it was 2pm, and 2 stomachs were growling. they could not find the foodcourt [now in taka, rmb?] because they could not find the exit. aiya long story im sleepy dont want to tell anymore sorry haha all in all i laughed till i cried when my mum told me about their orchard escapade. :D ---------------------- yesterday's national day celebrations were in my opinion, very good! except for the Mr and Miss Singapore segment which was rather boring but since most of the whole day from 3.30 onwards was really enjoyable, on the whole i thought it was great! playing silly games [snaggolf, picking ping pong balls, memory game, singaporeeeeee, throwing rubber balls and cans, typing national pledge etc) with the girls and taking photos singing patriotic songs on this note, patriotic songs should sound patriotic, and perhaps a little cheesy in a slightly sweet way. lots of nice SG songs like home and where i belong and "because in Singapore, Singapore, our hearts are big and wide you'll find" are like that, and i think they are nice to sing and hear because of that. um but some of the new ones are kinda... overly cheesy and does not make you feel patriotic enough to sing them. ah where was i. oh ya. with the girls there is always fun and laughter. sometimes there are crises, but thats what all of us are here for! for example, OMG CHEM FOCUS NOT DONE WHAT TO DO someone: i've done it. i can teach you! you're saved. no! we dont copy! we only copy notes! [from LL no less] and speaking of chem focus. shall we say our attention on friday was focussed on something that might have been caused by water, or some other wet substance. AND MISS TANG the group humbly requests you turn away when you blow bubbles !!! i saw your mega bubble land on my jacket and burst can. traumatising!
